Our Idea for our main piece

Lizzie, Shereen and I have decided that our main piece of Media coursework is most likely to be a chick flick. This is our basic storyline which we will film the first few minutes.

A new girl joins a private school in which the students are precocious and look down on the new girl.
The girl was asked to leave to leave old school - in our three minute piece we will show a flashback of her in the headmistresses office being asked to leave the school. We will infer that the explanation of why she left will come later in the film as she starts off secretive about the reason she was asked to leave.

We have started looking at other films with similar story lines, such as;

• St Trinians
• Mean Girls
• (John Tucker Must Die)
